IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Instructions for Saturday the 29th of May:

Competitiors go to entrance S9 for 09:00 and head to the tournament areas for weighing in.

Spectators go to entrances S10 and S11 from 10:00 when doors open to the public.

Tournament begins at 10:00 sharp and ends at 18:00

SENI 2010 is the most prestigious Martial Arts festival in the world. This year it will be held over the two days of the 29th and 30th of May at the Excel in London, England. The huge area is host to a large number of tournaments, hundreds of Martial Art stalls and various displays and demonstration stages which are active throughout the whole weekend. Doce Pares will be represented at the stalls by Keith James and his company WEKAS (World Eskrima Kali Arnis Supplies) throughout the whole weekend.

COMPETITION UPDATE:

WEIGH IN WILL BEGIN AT 9AM

FORMS WILL BEGIN AT 10AM

SINGLE AND DOUBLE STICK WILL FOLLOW

On the Saturday the London International Open Championships will take place (see below for details) including Karate, Kung Fu, BJJ, Eskrima, Capoeira and numerous other competitions, amongst a jungle of stalls.

On Sunday Doce Pares will conduct two demonstrations on the Classical Warriors Stage. Later Grandmaster Danny Guba will conduct a free knife workshop. Numerous famous Martial Artists will be there for autographs and chats. The whole weekend is fun packed and suitable for families of all ages.

Tickets are available at £10 for one day (please stipulate which day or if you would like both days covered at £20).

The London International Open Championship

The Championships include a multitude of Martial Arts systems including Eskrima Kali Arnis. This is a chance to be involved in the first of an annual tournament starting this year and arranged by the SENI organisers as one of the largest Martial Arts tournaments in Europe. The Filipino tournaments details are as follows:

(nb. the team event requires 3 fighters from the same club to fight one round each in an attempt to progress to the medals)

Grandmaster Danny Guba (Doce Pares) and Grandmaster John Harvey (Kapatiran) will be present and conduct the award ceremony at the end of the day (certificates and medals). The medals are custom made to a high quality and supplied by the SENI organisers in keeping with the London 2012 Olympic theme.

ENTRY FEES:

Competitors £25 (includes day pass for SENI show and entry into London International Open Championship - up to 4 of the Eskrima Kali Arnis events)

Spectators £10 (Day pass to SENI show)
